Join cabaret star Tricity Vogue and her All Girl Swing Band on a joyous romp through their eclectic setlist, as they playfully mix vintage style with modern sensibilities and feel-good energy. Expect pop classics alongside twenties tunes and Tricity's own saucy original numbers, played with true swing by top-drawer musicians.
Sharply turned out in top hat and tails, Ms Vogue and friends offer up a disobedient alternative definition of 'girl band'. Joining Tricity and her banjo ukulele will be tenor saxophonist Alyson Cawley, pianist Andrea Vicari, double bassist Amy Baldwin and drummer Michèle Drees.
Inspired by 1930s bandleader Ivy Benson, Tricity Vogue's All Girl Swing Band have been winning hearts and wowing audiences since 2011, at venues of all shapes and sizes including the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room, the Royal Festival Hall, and Wilton's Music Hall. They also have two albums under their belts. This will be their Biggleswade debut.
